Shelley is my wife and this is a soup I made for her earlier this year when she was sick as a dog.

Ingredients

  • 1 can diced hot jalapeños
  • 1 1/2 containers Swanson chicken broth
  • 2 onions diced
  • 2 diced jalapenos
  • 1 can water chestnuts diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 diced garlic cloves
  • 1 splash beef broth

Steps

  1. Heat a frying pan to high and add a splash of oil. Add diced vegetables except for canned jalapenos and garlic. Saute for 5 minutes.

  2. Add garlic and saute moving constantly for 1 minute.

  3. Add splash beef broth, chicken broth, diced hot jalapenos.

  4. Add salt and garlic powder

  5. Bring to a boil then reduce and simmer 5 minutes.
