Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter cut into 4 pieces
  • 3 tbsp heavy or whipping cream
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 pounds sweet potatoes peeled, quartered and cut into ¼” slices

Steps

  1. Combine butter, 3 tbsp cream, salt, pepper sugar and sweet potatoes in large saucepan.
  2. Cook, covered over low heat until potatoes are fall apart tender, 35 to 40 minutes
